Get Well, Billy!

My brother-in-law recently had to have his tonsils out. I hear it's pretty ugly when you are an adult. He's doing pretty well...but I wanted to send him a little care package so he knows how much we love him. This "Popsicle bouquet" was made with a flowers die and my Big Shot machine. It was pretty close to how I pictured them in my mind, which is always good!

New Stamps!

The new Stampin' Up! catalog is out and it's so fun! I'm already seeing some trends in stamps this year- pennants, circus/carnival,and doilies (old Spirogragh-looking images, to me) Anyway, they are fun and I think I'm going to really enjoy this year at Stampin' Up! This is a card I make right-quick for a friend's birthday. It uses the new pennants set, called "Perfect Pennants" and you can also buy a coordinating punch- *love* not having to cut things out by hand! Enjoy your day, we are heading out for a girl's day out!

prototype

I've been working on a prototype for a friend's sister's baby announcements. She's having a little boy any day now and the nursery will be in frogs and turtles.

catching up on scrapping!

productively speaking, I've been working on my scrap booking this summer- I nearly have Gavin's first year done, put the many, many pages of Mackenzie's events in order- and in books! I've made lists of events still to print, made sure all my photos are uploaded, and made lists of missing events I still need to scrap. These pages are one of those events that was daunting me- how to make and amazing event not take up too many pages...it took me all day, but I'm happy with them!

Finally, someting creative!

With being back to work full time, the kids, and then the holidays, I've felt like I haven't had a moment to be creative...the scrappin' girls gave me a gift certificate to Holly Berry House- and I used it to get two stamps. One is stamped repeatedly to make a box- they can be 4,5, or 6 sided, and the other is stamped repeatedly to layer into the topper. I think this one is going to be a gift for Mackenzie's teacher-Valentine's day and her teacher's birthday are close to one another.

Oh my Gosh, it's Been So Long!

Sorry, I have been gone sooo long. Life just seems to get in the way. And then there the small problem that my desk-top, which stores pictures, has been grouchy...Anyway, here a few Halloween pics of my babies, and the great ladies I work with.

Pull-ribbon candy bars

I made these this week to donate to the Cresson Dance Company's bake sale to help out Mackenzie's dance gruop. Thier final show was last night. MJ was a little mermaid- and the show was great! I guess the candy bars went well- they were gone even before the show began...and there were just a few of the peanut blossoms left...
